Black-headed ibis (Threskiornis melanocephalus)

I already wanted to paint this bird sometime back. I like the black and white plumage; the humble colours, the simplicity of her appearance. This bird is the only native ibis in Southeast Asia. I felt the humble subject suggests a modest background. Don’t you think so?
