Violet-backed starling (Cynniricinclus leucogaster)

This was a test run to try how it feels to paint using the software called: Rebelle. Well, it was a surprisingly natural experience. After a short while, I started to feel how well it imitates acrylic paint. It mimics the thickness of the paint and even respects the roughness of the canvas. So, if you are interested in digital painting, I recommend giving it a try.
This beautiful starling is living in Africa, mainly in the savannah. The feathers of the male are strikingly colourful and iridescent. And look at that unbelievable yellow ring around the iris! It’s just ravishing…!
