The Philippine eagle considered as the biggest eagle in the world with a wingspan of 184-220cm. It is endemic to the Philippines. It is critically endangered mainly due to the loss of habitat caused by deforestation.
The Bird of Prey movie is an award-winning documentary portraying the efforts to save this species. The Philippine Eagle Foundation and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology worked together to raise awareness and to save this majestic eagle.
